What version of VB is used in examples?

I am having trouble using the example code in the API help files and the examples posted here. I had a lot of trouble translating the examples in the Order2Go help files into something that would actually compile. I have the new examples, but it looks like items are missing in the code, like what kind of object is being created by dim statements and so on (and yes, I am new to all this).

What flavor of VB is all this stuff written in? I am using VB 2008. If someone could tell me which version of VB all these examples are written in I think that would be a help.

If you are relating to examples which i posted, then those were compiled on Visual Basic 2008 compiler, which is part of Visual Studio 2008.

Those examples are just a test posting, BETA version if you will... I'll be posting more and some of them will change, some new ones will be added. Since soon new version of Order2Go is coming out (with more features and changes) i will be posting a new updated set.

However basic operation of Order2Go will not change, so most of those examples should be good as they are. If you are having problems compiling something you wrote, then by all means post your source code here and i'll help you to find where the problem is. (To best of my ability)

Cheers

Thank you. The examples in the documentation posted with the API gave me problems getting something that would compile. Your examples appeared to be closer to what I am using (and I am using 2008 also), but I wanted to make sure. In the future, I think it would be useful to make a note about what version of the language is being used. People like me with not much programming experience often cannot tell just by looking at the code.

Oh i didnt think that was needed, but i guess that kinda makes sense. I'll remember from now on to include versions of compilers.
