Angry debit balance all account balance gone how to get back

    Dear sir /madam
THIS IS WITH RESPECT TO MY MICRO ACCOUNT NO 3800019914, MY ALL EQUITY AND BALANCE HAS BEEN DEBITED AND INSTEAD OF 15000.00USD MY ACCOUNT SHOWS NEGETIVE BALANCE OF -6448.71. I AM SURPRISED TO SEE THAT ALL MY MONEY HAS GONE I WOULD LIKE TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION ON MY TRADING OF 16.04.2012 BETWEEN 13.00HRS AND 17.05HRS. I WAS HAVING MULTIPLE POSTIONS WITH HEDGING IN EURO/USD PAIR ON BOTH BUY AND SELL SIDE. I HAD 1250K POSITIONS ON BUY SIDE OPEN AT 130.91 AT 13.20HRS WITHOUT HEDGING.
WHEN THE PAIR WAS TRADING AT 131.45 AT 13.30HRS THERE WAS EQUITY OF 15000.00 AND USABLE MARGIN ABOVE 6000.00USD. IF YOU SEE THE CHARTS THE PAIR HAS NOT TRADED BELOW 131.29 BETWEEN
13.20HRS-17.05HRS THEN WHY MY ALL POSITIONS ARE CLOSED AND A NEGATIVE BALANCE.
PLEASE CHECK IT AND REFUND MY EQUITY AT EARLIEST AS ALL MY TRADING HAS STOP.

Hello chopraeximpvtlt, and thank you for your post! On behalf of myself and everyone here at FXCM, welcome to the forum community!

I believe that what occurred with my trade is the result of a technical issue on FXCM's end. What can I do?

We admit that no system is perfect and it is very possible for technical issues to occur. When these issues do occur however, FXCM not only prides itself in resolving these issues in as fast and in an efficient manner as possible, but we also do everything in our power to make sure that issue does not occur again.

FXCM clients place millions orders per month of which the vast majority of are executed correctly. I point this out in order to share the confidence we have in our platform. When a technical issue does occur, no matter how small or large, we believe that a client should never be at fault when these things happen. That is why we have an audit committee that can review your trades whenever you have an execution inquiry. If you were in fact negatively impacted as the result of a technical issue on our end, we would be more than happy to make the proper adjustments to your account. If there is no execution error present for your trade(s), then we are also more than happy provide a full detailed explanation of why that is.

If you believe that this was the result of a technical error with the platform, if this is for a live account, you can submit a trade audit to have the case reviewed.

    Standard Accounts:

If you have a live standard account you can submit your trade inquiry by clicking on the link that corresponds to your account below:

Please fill out all the information requested, including ticket numbers, a description of what occurred, and what you would like the outcome of the resolution to be.

    Micro Accounts:

If this is for a live micro account, you can submit a trade audit to have the case reviewed by clicking here.

Please fill out all the information requested, including ticket numbers, a description of what occurred, and what you would like the outcome of the resolution to be.

If you were negatively impacted as the result of a technical issue on our end, we can make the proper adjustments to your account. Once you submit the complaint, please allow 1-5 business days for the audit team to come to a resolution. Once the audit team reviews the case, you will be notified with their findings.

I have a negative balance in my account, does this mean that I owe FXCM money?

One of the greatest concerns traders have about leverage is that a sizable loss could result in owing money to their broker. Not with FXCM.

Many forex traders use a lot of leverage, and so run the risk of losing more money than they have in their account. If this happens, your account can have a negative balance, often called a "debit balance". In this case, you will owe money to your broker, and the broker may call in collections agencies or engage in legal action to recover the money owe it.

FXCM doesn't think that's very fair. We operate with a No Debit Balance Policy. If your losses become too large, our system will automatically liquidate all positions immediately at the best available price. Typically, the system can get you out before your account would become negative. In the rare case where it cannot, FXCM will credit your account back to zero. You can never owe FXCM money due to trading losses.

Bottom line: It is FXCM’s policy to credit accounts to a zero balance when debit balances occur as a result of trading.

In order to have your account credited back to zero what you will need to do is please submit a trade audit by following the simple instructions above.

Hello Claculator, and thank you for your post!

What happened with the negative balance in that account?

As mentioned in my previous post on this thread (debit balance all account balance gone how to get back), it is FXCM’s policy to credit accounts to a zero balance when debit balances occur as a result of trading. That case was handled in the same fashion all negative balances are handled here at FXCM; the account was credited for the negative balance.

    Re: Debit Balance

I HAVE WRITTEN TO AUDIT DEPARTMENT. AN AUDIT WAS CARRIED OUT BUT OF NO USE AS THEY WERE OF NO USE AS THEY WERE NOT ADMITTING THE TECHNICAL MISTAKE AND SAID THAT THE MARGIN CALL WAS JUSTIFIED. MY REQUIRED MARGINAND BALANCE OF 20000 USD GONE WITH JUST TECHNICAL MISTAKE OF FXCM. AFTER THAT I KEPT ON SENDING MAILS TO AUDIT DEPARTMENT REGARDING RECONSIDERATION OF AUDIT BUT THEY DIDNOT EVEN REPLY TO MY ANY MAIL.
I DIDNOT EXPECTED THIS FROM SUCH A BIG BROKERAGE FIRM. I JUST WROTE THEM IF YOU CANNOT COMPENSATE MY ALL BALANCE ATLEAST COMPENSATE 50 PERCENT BUT ALL USELESS AS NO RESPONSE FROM AUDIT DEPARTMENT. I SENT MANY MAILS BUT NO REPLY. THEY ONLY ACT FAST IF YOU WANT TO OPEN ACCOUNT OR DEPOSIT FUNDS IF YOU ASK THEM FOR THEIR MISTAKES THEY DONT EVEN REPLY
