What does it mean the value shown as "Net Short" in my graph Marketscope 2.0. Please see attached picture.
I have 2 open short positions for AUD/USD, which are negative both of them. The sum of the negative values is -194.7; while a tag for "Net short" value shows: -973.5. What does this figures mean?
What do the "Net Short" and "Net Long" labels mean on Marketscope 2.0?
The Net Short and Net Long labels show you the sum of the floating profits and losses for all open positions for the currency pair that you're looking at on the chart in terms of pips. If those numbers do not add up correctly then there may be an issue with the platform itself. If you are experiencing any technical difficulties with the platform, most of those issues can be resolved with a simple uninstall and reinstall of the platform (Trading Station Whats New FAQ - November 2011 Update). Make sure you uninstall all instances of the platform before reinstalling. If you are still experiencing the same issue afterwards, please send me a detailed description of the error along with any screenshots you can provide (Problem with marketscope) of that error, and I would be more than happy to continue to troubleshoot the issue with you.
Please let me know either way whether or not you are able to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have uninstalled (fully) the Trading platform as indicated…. and have downloaded and installed a “fresh”/ updated one; however, the problem persists. The individual numbers for open positions do not add up correctly as it can be observed in the.jpg screen shot attached hereto.
Open position 1 = -37.9
Open position 2 = 29.8
Correct net value= -8.1
Label for Net Short displayed in chart= -41.5 ???
Please note I'm running a real micro account. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium and some time ago, this net value for open positions used to work fine.
I will appreciate your comments.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the platform fully but I am still having the same issue. What should I do next?
What I will do is have a Level II Tech specialist follow up with you to help you resolve the issue. We are going to contact you directly and look forward to being in touch with you soon.
