La producción de café del país creció 18 por ciento en febrero
Las cifras evidencian crecimiento de la caficultura, aunque hay preocupación manifiesta por la mitaca, afectada por el invierno.
Durante el pasado febrero, la producción cafetera colombiana totalizó 764.000 sacos de 60 kilos, un 18 por ciento más frente a los 648.000 sacos recolectados en febrero del 2010, informó la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros.
Por su parte, en los dos primeros meses del año, la cosecha de café sumó 1,7 millones de sacos, 44 por ciento más que los 1,2 millones producidos en igual periodo del año pasado.
