Junta del Emisor empieza a inclinarse para bajar tasas
El Banco de la República destaca que la economía solo creció a una tasa anual de 1,1% en el primer trimestre.
Al menos dos codirectores del Banco de la República votaron en la pasada junta directiva del 29 de junio por bajar las tasas de interés, frente a uno que lo hizo en la junta de mayo, lo que hace prever un debate aún más cerrado en la próxima reunión, que será el 27 de julio. En mayo, ante los datos que comenzaban a mostrar que la economía colombiana aflojaba, el codirector Carlos Gustavo Cano puso el tema sobre la mesa y votó por que los intereses bajaran.
