Question Attempting to compile C++ examples in Visual Studio 2005

I keep getting various errors. Can VS 2005 compile the C++ example? What happens is VS 2005 attempts to convert it and fails. Any ideas?

What is the specific problem that occurred?
And have you tried compiling it in VS 2003?
