I am not sure, but I think I've read or heard somewhere that on mt4 the "Trailing Stops" feature is linked to ur computer and will only work if ur puter and trading platform is on (on mt4 that is), I don't use tradestation anymore, I never used it for long anyways, so I wouldn't know if the same rules apply. But u could add that to the questions, when ur talk to customer service. Just and fyi, buddy.
Goodluck to us all.

Well I don't spend much time complaining about the brokers but I don't understand after they were shut down all weekend why they needed to shut down for maintenance just before 8:30 est.
I am locked up at the moment!!!!!

Ibg thanks for the reply but the stop information is stored on fxcm's platform so my computer shouldn't need to run.

I believe the stops and limits info is stored on the server, but trailing stops info. stored on ur puter for mt4, I may be wrong. But for whatever reasons, I'll suggest u check with cust. serv. just to have some kind of clue as to what happened. So as to cover urself next time.

No worries FSS
Hi FSS,
I would not worry as I think the price will rise in about 4-5 hours time it will come down first but then we will get a large jump up followed by an almighty sell off.

have you got tradestation up and running again yet? Yeah everything is good now. We just had some problems right before the account balance and then more problems right before tics data. These things happen you know.
What do you think about the yen. I think that it is a good shorting opportunity.
