Talking

closed 2 of my lots at 1.1715 after it bounced off 35 second time. Evening candles forming and Rsi dropping on hourly. Will try to get it back on oversold hourly because USD bulls are still in playthanks to the last 2days' positive movement .

leaving 1 lot to test this resistance again and target 1.1800

cheers

Hi breeze,
Welcome to commodity pair.
it could be frustrating but alot of range trading. So we pull out when bounce off Bollinger band. Pocket the money first then go again later.

cheers,

Thumbs up TARGET met

goodnews for those holding long; 1.1800 was hit. Actually 5pips away.
as for me my limit at 1.1788 got hit and iam out of the game now. So how far will it go? my initial target was 1.1930 (fib retracement of its fall from grace) but a win is a win and iam not playing till next week.

Have to do my maths and see how politics do in Canada. the CAD bulls will be out in force if good results to their expectations.

Good luck to all and hope USD can hold on to the gains for another 24hours.

Cheers

A very good week for the longs! We will most likely see a dip today and I will go long again around 1.1695. Harper said that the current price of the loonie has been hurting the Canadian export market and he would like to see a weaker loonie. Monay night will be an interesting one for all CAD crosses.

Current postion, looking for a good entry to go Long, (1.20 maybe!)

Nice to hear that you pulled out. Good profit? You owe me nothing.

Go get some rest and set your geppy at 204 for a retreat. I will let you in on the next catch. But you have to promise to learn how to keep your 100pips profit.

cheers,

Exclamation Oil back up!!

And the tide turned to favor the CAD bulls; Oil regained its $67 mark thanks to worries over Iran again, and Gold got a lift as bargain hunters came to the rescue and kept the $550s secured. Other metals are up too so that would be a worry to the USD bulls.

How low will it pull back? the lower the better for CAD bulls of course. And so too will the USD bulls should 1.1560s hold the line. If not there is always a chance in the lower region of 1.1450.

Oil & gold will still be the determinig factor after politics is done.

Goodluck fellas,

usdcad is still kicking!!!

or is it licking its wound?

hey breeze,
ready to go again? my charts hasnt got a clue at the moment but we still can always get our longs back on a discount.
timing is everything so i wait some more.

1.1570/80 is lovely to get my long positions back

Oil is still above $67 & gold is holding on to its gains at $559 so more chances for usdcad to drop.

cheers,

Goodmorning all. Been watching this one as well . My support comes in @ 1558 (daily lows for the 12th and 17th). I'm going to wait to see if it gets down there to see if it can be taken out. If it bounces we may see a set up to go long. If it convincingly breaks 1558 I may consider short--out for now. Just my opinion of course.

Well that didn't take long. Went short side @1547 , I'll treat it as a scalp for now and see how it plays out.

Edit: Closed this @1553, I did not like the price action. Too choppy.

Hey Pro; Looks like a good set-up. I'm in long @ 1531.
I've got a question for you. How do you think the results will play out in relation to effecting the CDN $. If the conservatives win by a majority or minority how would you see it. Would a majority be a postive vs. a minority being negative? Would be interested in your views.
