The letter a is actually letter c and the bottom before "a" is the real "a" and consequently the high after that is "b". The following "b", "c", "d" and "e" are part of another phase, not part of the prior Elliott Wave analysis.

I entered my trade at 92.25 over two and half weeks ago and all it has been is a landslide. Why can't the dollar just find some ground?

The trend is your friend...trade it until it ends.

The yen has been stronger overall than the dollar...so no need to fight it until the day comes when it "proves out" differently by a daily chart uptrend forming.

Just something to consider.

Hey Sean, didn't notice you before today, just wanted to say Welcome back. . . Hope you had a great Vacation.

What is more, you are definitely needed here, and your return is received with open arms after this hellacious week without you.

Been a rough and tough trade week during and following the news. . . I'm still here though.

Uber, hey great to be back. I missed it...for sure.
Thanks for the kind words. Glad to know I make a tangible difference here. Awesome!

Possible JPY Weakness

Just a heads up ...

Watch out for the Trading opportunities created by the possible JPY weakness.

PS: Also, look at ZARJPY if you trade this pair.

It's amusing how the level of interest in a forum reflects the market activity, the USD/JPY has been in a coma for a few days, and then BANG! Off it goes.

Lovely triangle formation on daily charts, I expect some kind of explosion soon

Hi Asher Yes agree the JPY is wreaking, so it is better for me I bough-ted on 89.55 level as I told you before..but I was just wondered when that pair just suffering for the Sharp Ks and Ts Equilibrium so I just Keep my SL just 10/pivot l2= Price of UJ.. so I am very mush sure if that Break the Kumo bear Cloud Bottom Support of 30 minute chart Basis so My triger would be Sell on UJ close.

But That was just a Flag Formation Of technical analysis help of Sharp Equilibrium Of ts ks..

That why I am still gaining Money..hehe..
So Asher, I never tried ZAR JPY..that is high SPREAD..Pair..

hehe so i can sing...

Twinkle twinkle little star,
how I wonder what you are?
Looking at your magic light,
watching over us tonight.

Before my dreams take me away,
I kneel beside my bed and prey.
For all the children in the dark,
till tomorrow,
twinkle little star.

Promise me you'll twinkle little star.
Cos everybody needs a little star.

...............
thats true..Cos everybody needs a little star.

good night

The U.S. dollar index is perking up a good bit today...so could be general dollar strength bolstering the USD/JPY today.

Mr. Wilson put an interesting article in the Market Talk section of the forum today along these lines.

Vincy,

I hope you've caught the wonderful upside trend on UJ and GJ already. As far as I can see EJ, AJ, and NJ may follow up soon.

JPY has always been my favourite as it gives clear signals where its going to go.

I think you need to learn more about how to trade Exotics, I agree that ZAR pairs are high spread but there are a couple of things you need to keep in mind:

1. Lets say if it has a 100 pips spread but how much is the actual value for 1 pip should also be taken into account

2. The volatility on Exotics is extremely high, pairs such as USDZAR, ZARJPY, USDTRY, USDILS, USDSEK, USDNOK and etc can actually move more than a thousand pips a day while the Majors may have ATR of hardly a hundred pips. That is why many traders simply love trading Exotics.

In the end its all about catching trend right and early

Cheers,
Asher
