Hi forum,
I'm about to install fxcm on a new computer,
I'm currently in trades, how can I save off all my notes and scribbles in Marketscope,
it appears to be locally-saved not server side , I cant find anyway to do it
Hello phillius fabius, and thank you for your post! On behalf of myself and everyone here at FXCM, welcome to the forum community!
Is there a way that I can sync my charts from one computer to another, and vice versa?
What you can do is save your platform profiles, chart snapshots, templates, and layouts onto a USB Flashdrive and then transfer them from computer to computer.
How do I save my platform profiles, chart snapshots, templates, and layouts onto a USB Flashdrive?
In order to save your platform profiles, chart snapshots, templates, and layouts onto a USB Flashdrive you will first need to find the files on your computer. From your computer please go to:
My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Candleworks > FXTS2
From there you can find your profiles, snapshots, templates, and layouts in their corresponding folders.
Let's say I want to copy and paste my platform profile onto my USB flashdrive. I will double click on the Profiles folder, and then copy and paste my Profile program into my USB Flashdrive.
Profiles will always be .fxp files.
Snapshots will always be .chs files.
Templates will always be .cht files.
Layouts will always be .chd files.
Once you have copied and pasted your files into your USB Flashdrive you can apply them to any computer that has the Trading Station platform downloaded on it. Once you plug the USB Flashdrive into another computer, go ahead and follow the same steps above to copy and paste the files from the USB Flashdrive into their corresponding folders. Please click on the links below to learn more about saving snapshots, templates, and layouts to your computer.
Trader Tip: If you want to replace everything from the Trading Station platform on one computer to the Trading Station platform of another computer all at once, first save the entire My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Candleworks > FXTS2 folder from one computer on a USB flashdrive.
Once you plug the USB Flashdrive into another computer, you can overwrite the FXTS2 folder on the computer with the one you have saved in the USB flashdrive. If you decide to do this please take extra care to make sure you are replacing the correct folder. Also remember you will lose everything in the FXTS2 folder you are overwriting and replacing it with the FXTS2 folder saved in your USB flashdrive.

FXCM does not offer margin loans. FXCM is a currency trading brokerage. Please let me know if currency trading would be something of interest to you. Thanks and have a great day!

Hello mikwallstreet, and thank you for your post! On behalf of myself and everyone here at FXCM, welcome to the forum community!
Can I open an account through Trade Interceptor?
Yes you absolutely can mikwallstreet! An LOD form referencing Riflexo JSC as the Service Provider (Introducing Broker) is required for Trade Interceptor (name of the actual program Riflexo offers). First what you will need to do is fill out a Standard Account application by clicking on one of the links below:
Then fill out the LOD form attached to this post that corresponds to what type of account you are opening and send it to the operations department at admin@fxcm.com. Enter "Riflexo JSC" as the program provider when you are filling out the LOD form.
What is an Introducing Broker?
Introducing Brokers are firms that receive compensation for directing new clients to FXCM. Introducing Brokers may offer special services or products for clients that open an account through them.
FXCM cannot promote or recommend any specific Introducing Broker for clients to open an account through. For that reason it is the clients responsibility to conduct their own due diligence when deciding whether or not to open an account with an Introducing Broker, or when choosing an Introducing Broker to work with.
Opening an account through an Introducing Broker is available for Standard accounts only. Please let me know if a standard account would be something of interest to you, and I will be more than happy to put you in touch with a specialist that can go over all your options.
I would prefer to open a micro account. Can I have some more information about that?
Sure thing! The minimum deposit for an FXCM Micro account is $50 US Dollars. Remember that micro accounts can only be funded in US Dollars. If you are looking to open a micro account, you can open one by clicking on the link below:
I would like to refer business to FXCM. How can I do that?

Actually he is. He will be out of the office until next week. I would try him again some time after next Wednesday or so. Best of luck with your trading!

Hello again mikwallstreet, and thank you for your post!
I am filling out the LOD form but I'm not sure what to enter in the customer account number or trader account number. Is this where I enter my account number for FXCM?
In the customer account number please enter your FXCM account number. The trader account number you can leave blank. I will send your new FXCM account number by email to make sure you have the correct one. I look forward to being in touch with you soon!

I opened Marketscope now to check a chart and I noticed that the candles from 15:00GMT to 22:00GMT missed. The lines that I had draw for support/resistance yesterday after 15:00 are in the air now!
